Welcome To Our Club!

Soroptimist International of Big Bear Valley (SIBBV) is a non-profit Women’s Service Club and part of a Global Volunteer Organization that has been granted a consultative status with the United Nations. Our mission is to enhance the lives of women, girls (and youth) in our community and throughout the world. Chartered in 1979, we SIBBV members have primarily dedicated our time and efforts toward our local community's needs. In the last twelve years, our fundraising has allowed us to contribute well over $1,000,000 to improve the lives of so many Big Bear locals through our mission-based projects and programs. Between 2010 – 2022 alone, we distributed more than:

               $94,000 in student scholarships,

               $30,000 to Live Your Dream Award recipients,

               $92,000 to community grants,

               $112,000 toward women's health programs,

               $401,000 in our childcare/Beyond the Bell program and

               $295,000 in our Student Assistance Program.
